Bootcamp workouts tend to be my favorite, probably because they are different each time. If you are like me and get bored with completing the same exercise(s), you should give bootcamp workouts a try.
Bootcamp Makes Fitness Fun
Our bootcamp instructor(s) varied our workouts each week, and often with working out while playing a game. The first bootcamp instructor we had alternated gym days where we would run across the gym, push heavy weights across the gym or do walking lunges across the gym, etc. She also had bootcamp in the pool, where we alternated swimming the narrow length of the pool with our partner, while the other partner did push-ups or sit-ups on the pool deck. Later bootcamp instructors alternated HIIT and Tabata workouts.
Our last bootcamp instructor, Angie Moudry (who demonstrates the correct form and modifications on our website) turned bootcamp into gamified fitness. Angie made our workouts in a game form, so we hardly realized we were working out. Examples include exercises written on “Candy Land” cards, a homemade “Chutes and Ladders” with exercises on the squares, and an “Amazing Race” with exercise stations outside. When the pandemic hit and the gyms closed, my workout buddy, Sherry and I made versions of these games to play at home. When we grew tired of the same workouts, we dreamed up our Fit N Fun Bootcamp game, drew it on poster board and began playing it with our kids for their at-home gym credits.
Whether you workout at home to our Fit N Fun board game or You Tube videos, or go to an organized class at a gym, bootcamp is a well-rounded workout for all to enjoy. It is a challenging workout; however, modifications can always be made to fit any exerciser.

Feel Secure With Bootcamp Fitness
A workout called “Bootcamp” intimidates some people, leaving them believing they may not be strong enough or have the endurance to complete the workout. If this is the case for you, I encourage you to try our Fit N Fun Bootcamp edition. You can begin working out by yourself, and get comfortable with the exercises. Next, you can invite a friend or two to workout with you. After you build your strength, endurance and confidence, you may feel ready for a bootcamp class at your local gym. Either way, you will get a great workout and have fun exercising with our Fit N Fun board game’s Bootcamp Edition.
