The arrival of a new year often brings with it a fresh sense of purpose and a renewed commitment to personal growth. However, as the months and even days roll on, it can be difficult to maintain the momentum. The average New Year Goal only lasts 3 days!!! Here are some strategies to help you stick to your New Year’s goals and make them a reality.
1. Set Clear, Achievable Goals
Start by defining your goals clearly. Instead of vague resolutions like “get fit,” aim for specific, measurable goals such as “exercise three times a week for 30 minutes.” Better yet, add the goal to play Fit-N-Fun Games Bootcamp Edition 3 times/week for a well-rounded workout including cardio, strength, core and flexibility exercises.
2. Create a Plan of Action
Break down your goals into manageable steps. For instance, if your goal is to workout with Fit-N-Fun Games 3x week, write down on your calendar which days and times you will workout.

Keep a journal or use an app to track your progress. Seeing how far you’ve come can motivate you to keep going. Celebrate small victories along the way. I like to print out an exercise tracker and then color in the square for that date each time I workout.

Share your goals with a friend or join a group with similar interests. Having someone to check in with can provide the support and encouragement you need to stay on track. My workout buddy and I compare our exercise color trackers to keep each other accountable.
5. Be Flexible and Patient
Understand that setbacks are a part of the process. If you miss a day or two, don’t get discouraged. Adjust your plan as needed and keep moving forward.
6. Visualize Success
Take a few minutes each day to imagine yourself achieving your goal. Visualization can reinforce your commitment and make your goals feel more attainable.
7. Reward Yourself
Set up a system of rewards for meeting milestones. Treat yourself to something enjoyable when you reach a significant checkpoint. For example, when I reach my goal weight, I am treating myself to Stitch Fix to get some new clothes.
8. Reflect and Reevaluate
Periodically review your goals and assess your progress. Are your goals still relevant and realistic? Adjust them if necessary to stay aligned with your reality and progress. 9. Build a Supportive Environment

10. Never Stop Learning
Continuously seek out new information and skills that can help you achieve your goals. Attend workshops, read books, or find online resources that can offer guidance and inspiration.
